The Career and Vocation Services Department (CVS) at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University can help you decide what your future career will be and help you choose a major. Services provided include:
CVS conducts a Job Fair in the Fall and Spring semesters. We invite local, in-state, and out-of-state companies on campus to talk to students about employment opportunities. This enables the students to make contact with many different companies, talk to their recruiters and hiring personnel and hand out resumes all in one central location on campus.
The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University Library has career resources both online and in print. For online resources, there is the Learning Express Library that has a section called “Career Center” which includes information on careers, practice tests, job search assistance, interview skills, and more!
To access this resource, please log in to the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University portal then navigate to the Library Databases page. You will find the "Learning Express Library” under “Other Resources”.
There are also eBooks and hardcover books covering career topics within the library. Please feel free to ask a librarian for assistance in locating these resources.
Career and Vocation Services records are held in strictest confidence and are NOT a part of any other college records.
